This is my valance for guest bedroom. I can't decide what paint color would go best. My trim is white. The valance is a pale yellow and gray even though the gray looks a bit blue. Any ideas? Hubby thinks the orangey rust brown color would look good on the wall but I tend to disagree.

If you need to paint before choosing furniture, I would recommend going with a light silver/grey that will look good with every color. Glidden has a color called "Universal Grey" that I have in my living room and I love it! I think it plays nicely against the pastel yellow.
