Thank you for contacting us! Yes, the bottom of the floor is about 35" long. This is a 54" length tub so it is quite small in length but does have good interior space, considering the size. Depending on how tall a person is, it could be used for only sitting and might not have enough room to stretch out. If you were around 5' or shorter, possibly there is room to stretch. If you need anything else please let us know.
