You could check for any blockages in your air return vents. You should have air flowing through the home regardless of location. You may also try to put in smaller windows at ground level such that they can't be used for egress (or to break in!).

I believe the central air/heat is flowing. I had the house weatherized & it's tight. Nothing in, nothing out.

How old is the HVAC system? You may have to check your filters. Even through weatherizing your home, a good HVAC system should still be able to cycle fresh air through your home.

If it's not a problem with the HVAC, how far are you willing to go for a solution? Awning windows are a good way to get air flow going without worrying about safety. I assume after weatherizing the house, you're not willing to start punching holes and adding more windows.

Perhaps a simple essential oil diffuser will add some freshen up your bedroom. It might be worth a try before getting into heavier solutions.

sheadams, you could leave the fan on at all times, if your unit will allow. We have a heat pump and I leave the fan on 24/7 to keep the air circulating and to not have hot and cold spots.
