I prefer the granite with more of the creme inside. The other appears as though it may make the room look too dark. The creme may add light and make the kitchen pop! Enjoy designing!

hi. how big is your island? have you checked if replacing its top and starting fresh with a new granite selection for all may be in your budget?

See if you can find a cream quartz that is the same color as the cream in the island countertop - which is gorgeous!

Regarding the butcher block, some follow up questions: are the cabinets staying dark? What colour is your floor (looks grey in the photo but it's not a good representation)?

A solid color quartz picking up one of the colors in the granite would be better, in my opinion. Seems too busy otherwise.

What granite is on the island currently? I like the granite with the cream in it. Agree, they do not go together and the one with cream will look good with a solid cream quartz.

With dark cabinets, the new choice for counters is too dark. I think you will be disappointed in the final look. I agree with others. A mostly solid quartz in a creamy tone would work well.
I have both products and believe me....the quartz is almost indestructible.....I tried nail polish remover, oils, hair dye, etc. All were left on overnight and no stain!!!!

I definitely agree that they wouldn't go together. I would prefer to see the lighter colored granite in that particular space, to offset the darkness of the cupboards and drawers!

I would not put these two together. They both have a lot going on.

i hate to think you'd get a different granite and still not like it. if you absolutely cant redo all the granite the same, id pick a plain/solid off white quartz for the new area.
