I personally don't go for both of the siding colors together, and then the brick as well. I like the gray better w/the brick, but I like the blue better itself.

I agree you should choose just one, and the gray appears to go better with the brick.

I think the blue shade doesn’t have enough of the same color in the formula that is in the stone. Get paint chips that match the stone and siding, and then the paint store can help you choose the right shade of blue.

Thank you ladies for the feedback. I agree. I love both colors, just not together. I have no decorating skill so I went with a designer's suggestion. I thought it was crazy but figured that maybe it was something coming into style. Most of the gray on the stone is mildew and will be cleaned, leaving the stone more of a tan. The cloudy day doesn't help either. The siding installers installed the wrong profile for the gray siding. So I may be able to make a color change thanks to their mistake. The designer suggested a lighter gray and leave the blue. I'd have to pay for replacing the blue since that is what I requested. The blue looks really nice, but I fear that a whole house in that blue would be too much.

I think if you bumped up the porch, that would really help. Get rid of the thin railings, and put a nice solid column, and some more substantial rails? I don’t think it would be too pricey to paint the porch in the stone-look paint, that matches the existing brick work? I mean, a new porch would be awesome, but if money is a factor, the paint option would be able to take you a few years further, before having to replace it? Very cute house, you could really play up the charm with it!

I'd agree that one color of siding would be less distracting, but whatever works. the blue is all you see from the front, and I think it's a nice blue with your brick.
