You need to use a volt meter to confirm if the DSI is being sent voltage from the control board and work backwards from there. Do not try to measure the spark side.

Well, after all of the time and money spent on trying to find the problem back in October had failed, the second time around I found some valuable info tucked inside a plastic bag taped to the back cover. That was all I needed! After chasing down voltage and resistance measurements, I concluded there was nothing wrong with the DSI & control board. It was the high voltage wire from the DSI board to the ignitor.

I just took some old high voltage wire I had saved from the 70s that was used for supplying voltage from the flyback transformer to the glass side of the old style picture tube on T.Vs. Soldered connectors and used that. I wish I had seen this necessary info the first time.
