Hood painted or Metal?

Is this a working hood? if so what metallic paint did you use that is heat resistant?

I only handled the counter tops, so I will tell you what I can...The hood was real metal and the hood does work. I believe they just made it from wood and wrapped it in metal. I would have to ask the customer for more info...
