Long or round table? Mirror or pic on wall?

A mirror would be okay, but a painting (no glass) would be incredible.

Small console with an oval mirror. Small colorful table lamp to the left of the mirror where the outlet is. Nice space!

you could do a faux finish antique mirror on the wall following the stair line. Add small console with fresh flowers and larger vases to the side. Bigger but fewer decor pieces for a luxurious look:)

If you're into small projects, making faux finish mirrors is easy. Good tutorial I used for a Restaurant project in Portland and it came out beautiful! The secret: use glass and mirror finish spray.
