In case you felt the Universe shift, this is why...

I felt the need to quilt tonight...so got into my sewing room between Amanda's sessions on her project. Needed something quick to just ... do... something... Came up with these

These are on pre-printed fabric foundations. I have yards of this stuff, so we'll see how far I'll go.

It was tough...

You might want to go buy a lottery ticket. lol

I would NOT say I've converted... This is still really hard for me to do!!

But I'm claiming the controlled effect of the same fabrics on center & one direction is helping me. That control will end up looking like lattice over the quilt.

I knew I liked Tim!!!

Oh My Gosh. It's scrappy! Have we converted you? I happen to think they are beautiful and you should continue in your new found scrappyness.

Tim said it was mathematically uniform therefore doesn't qualify as true scrappy.

Pineapple was one block I thought I would like to make. I even have a pineapple ruler somewhere in the chaos, obviously unused. I am inspired.

They are great. Just my style Is that light fabric a blue and ivory toile? I need some.

Fran, it's sort of like a toile...actually small blue flowers. It's something I got in a lot of fabrics probably 10+ years ago.

So funny, I just printed a bunch of small pineapple paper foundations. I need to use up some more strings! But I never thought I would see the day you would be doing them too. hahahaha
