Depends on if you like sitting on a stool instead of a chair

Tables that high are rarely comfortable to sit at and most people would hate eating every meal on a stool. It depends on your needs and wants, but I'd say keep looking for a better solution.

Short person here...I hate sitting on stools at restaurants where everything is brought to me, I would really hate having to get up and down constantly in my own home.

Maybe, just maybe if they were comfortable swivel chairs with a foot rest and I also had a dining area.

I'm with woodteam5. Also, seniors and kids have a difficult time with stools that are counter high.

A other woodteam5 fan here. Besides, if everyone is on stools next to each other, makes it difficult to talk and look at each other. Sitting down together for a meal, talking about this ‘n that...TV off, cellphones muted....is becoming a rare thing.
