It could be Echeveria shaviana or another curly-leaved echeveria. It is in very dire need of light! And better draining potting mix. I would repot, let it grow a bit in good light and after a while behead it. You could have very nice plant for next to nothing :) Try not to handle by leaves too much in order not to rub off protective coating, aka farina.

The plant needs a better draining soil. Most often recommended here is a 50/50 mix of commercial cactus-succulent mix combined with perlite (or pumice if available to you). These components come from your nursery. You would probably have better luck finding pumice or perlite at a regular nursery rather than Home Depot. Your plant needs much more light. It should not be stretched out like that. It should look more like a flower.

When you repot, remove as much soil from the roots as possible, even soaking them a bit to work the soil off. When you repot, don't water until the next day. Then water only when dry. Good luck.

A rosette could be the word to best describe what the plant ‘should’ look like, with each leaf sitting directly on top of the next. It won’t revert back to how it should look, only new growths may be tighter....if given better conditions.

Thank you Rina for the identification! I just googled it and, you all are right, it’s SUUUUPER leggy! Socks, I’ll let it get acclimated to its new home then repot. I have perlite and will pick up a bag of cactus-succulent mix. Gill, looking forward to seeing those rosettes!

It may be better to repot if soil is not draining well - plant looks quite OK besides being etiolated - so you don't want it to start suffering because of soggy soil. If not (you don't absolutely have to right away), make sure soil doesn't stay wet deep down in the pot: use bamboo skewer or chopstick to check it.
