Are you going to do the work? You might be able to get away with a gray glaze. But, I would wait until you have furniture selected, hopefully much smaller scale than in your pictures. Then, you can select lighting and flooring. Furniture is big blocks of color or looks so get that identified first.

I think you have it set for now. Future upgrades would be countertops and backsplash.

I’d wait on the painting of the cabinets unless they absolutely have to be done now. Instead, I would have new kitchen lighting done, getting rid of the ceiling fixture.

I wouldn't paint the cabinets, at least not until you make other changes like new flooring and lighting.

The first thing you need to do is get some proper lighting in the space before choosing any colors. I would leave the cabinets for now until you get your furniture Are you changing all the flooring or just the kitchen?In such a small space I think I would spend the money first on having all the same floor throughout.

Many people don't like the Edison bulbs. They have a lot of glare and have a yellow light to them. So think about that. As long as you know the style you are looking for, you can start with lighting, but if you don't know style, then might better get a good idea of furnishings first.

More on lighting. I assume you will have a dining area, so a chandelier there needs to wait for table for sizing. There appears to be only a central light in kitchen right now. It looks to me like you need more lighting in the kitchen. Under cabinet would be great for everyday prep and clean up and evening lighting. If you can put a junction box over the peninsula that style pendant you posted could work. But not suitable for central lighting. Have you had the wiring inspected?

I have not had an inspection. i dont know what i can do as i am on the 2nd floor of a condo building. i would love the pendant above the peninsula if i can do that.

I would stick with white for your cabinets and add the color to your walls instead. First, white is classic and always in style. It makes a kitchen look bright and clean. Second, your kitchen is in a dark with no windows and the light coming from all the way across the room. Painting the cabinets grey will make the corner seem even darker.

The most budget friendly way to update paint would be to put a little color on the walls (light cool colors would go best with the white cupboards and keep the corner from being dark). it is much cheaper to paint walls rather than the cupboards.

When you update your hardware, lights and vinyl make sure they are all one style that you like. This will give you a more "finished" look.

New lighting and new hardware on the cabinets, plus a new coat of white paint everywhere would be pretty, especially with hardwood floors. Then the color can come in your fabrics and textiles. Be careful of yellowish lighting - it will make the place look dingy, even if painted white.

That is a "foyer" light, so do you have a place for an entry chandelier? It is a pretty finish. It leans kind of traditional/transitional in style? Can you give a little more info. The only place I can see for you to possibly use this if you don't have an entry, is the kitchen, and it probably doesn't have enough wattage capability to give you sufficient light. But something to think about. It might be too high for your ceiling height in the new place.

Thank you. I need to change out that light as well so i can use it there. basically i like the style and finish so id be looking at brushed nickle not too traditional and clean lines.

When you say "use it there", do you mean kitchen? If your ceilings are 8' (which I think they are) and that fixture is say 16" high with another 3-4 inches for hanging it might hang too low. You will just have to measure. With 4 bulbs, you can max out 60 watts per bulb or 240 watts. I think I would prefer a flush ceiling fixture in there with capability to get 300 watts.

With a much smaller dining table than the previous owner's you might be able to use that light. Do you have a hallway where it could go?

Something like this for the kitchen.

It is just too early to make decisions without an overall game plan. You could end up with a bunch of "bits and pieces" none of which work well together. So, I strongly suggest you get a floor plan set up (I can do a scale drawing for you with basic dimensions.) and the floor plan will determine size and scale of furniture so you purchase items that work really well. You could also do a "track" type lighting in the kitchen from that one junction box in the ceiling in the kitchen. Track lighting has come a long way and there are some good options with brushed nickel finishes too. In your condo, lighting is going to be VERY important, it will "make your spaces" and give you years of pleasure, so don't underestimate lighting.

Not sure what you mean. I think you mean that it has a plug? That is easy to change. But you have to consider the "total cost" of that type change. You need some on site help and it would be well worth your money to hire a local designer to help you with these decisions and develop a "master plan" and provide knowledge and information to you. We can help here, but it can get confusing. You might not think you can afford it, but a few hours of good designer help can be worth double and more of the cost. If you avoid making one big mistake, it pays for itself.

I like your "boat house" photos in your idea books. There are some good ideas there you could adopt for this condo. I like that cerise paint on the ceiling in that one kitchen. You could do something like that to "spark" up that corner, but it has to be part of the big plan. Love to help you as you move forward. When will you "take possession"? Do you have water views?
