tile selection for curbless shower masterbath

We are rebuilding after a house fire. I have selected the marble tile mosaic rug+blue marble 'trim' but can not decide on the floor, shower tile. Vanity will be a double sink custom (inset) in a white, toto toilet (so kind modern), but I want a very classic traditional timeless look. I have ordered samples of a 12x24 calcutta silver large format but it seems busy and I fear look too contemporary (like I changed my design mind in between). This is based on in some images large formats look like a DYI and others executed well but what makes it work.

questions: Can you help me with the details? is it grout line size, marble finish boarders, orientation of installation. Tile size? Do I do smaller 3x6? Do I need a different tile for the floor? Alcoves? Trim for alcoves?

Do I do Honed floor + polished walls or all same?

I am working with a good tile store but my 'designer' is not helpful. Do I mix Porcelain for durability or keep all marble. I just want a classic look open to anything. Prefer minimal veining. ... help please?

Fixtures: Axor Brushed Nickel, hidden linear drain

Tile: Mosaic Tile and blue marble to be cut to 1" stripes for edging (attached)

Pictured is the mosaic tile + edging (carpet) with some Calcutta silver porcelain
