I live in zone 6a and start my dahlias indoors in mid April. I plant at the end of May. Firepot is always one of the first to bloom, usually by late July.

I start mine like Unclehead. I am Zone 5b. It was the second to bloom, and DID NOT STOP til frost!

A knockout! If I could have only one, this would be it. It's also not too tall, which I like.

Great to know, it sure does sound like a gorgeous dahlia!! I can hardly wait to see those fantastic colors ... though, my luck is that I'll receive a mislabeled tuber, lol.
