We are doing black granite counters, keeping stainless appliances, keeping medium oak room doors & trim (see pic)....adding glass backsplash in the picture...
We would love wood floors but due to a dog and kids have decided on ceramic tile that looks like wood. Many of them have the distressed look... not what we are going for. Decided on the one in the picture... although it is only 6x20 in size -- think that will look okay?? What color cabinets can go with it??? I think the sample door I have looks good... but I would really prefer a more medium dark color maple... like caramel color. I think the dark in the picture doesn't allow the black granite to pop or the rubbed bronze handles to show. Would a slightly lighter cabinet go??? Or would that be too close to the floor and/or the oak doors and trim?? Other suggestions??
