Thank you for the examples. I really like the drama of the black shade and I have a black cabinet in the room that would tie it in but I’m worried it will be too stark against the sheers. What do you guys think? This is probably the easiest dilemma of the day :). This is the last piece I need for this room and I want to get it right.

Why do you need a different lamp there? This is a standout space and that lamp looks just fine. In fact, I like the way the white shade repeats the little bit of white in the art.

i can show you others, but i really think i agree with grover. it is this perfect little tableu, I don't really believe that a top designer could improveon it.

if you show us the other corner, maybe we should give you a black lamp shade for there?

The other corner leads into the dining room and there’s really no room for a lamp there. I had thought this lamp was maybe a little too blah but I guess I’ll keep it :). Thank you all!
