New Venetian Gold vs St. Ceclia vs?

Trying to decide what granite to get for our kitchen and bathroom countertops. Ideally we would like something that is available precut in the event we need a single 3 or 6 ft segment to finish one of the bathrooms and not have to buy an entire slab to complete. I have enclosed photos of the kitchen cabinetry (a light cinnamon) and the wood flooring (natural hickory). The bathrooms will have a polar white cabinetry and we're planning on going with porcelain stone-look matte tile that is white with a shade of a light beige. Here are pictures of the kitchen cabinets and flooring.

Any thoughts or recommendations would be helpful. We definitely intend on picking the slab, but as I said before, precut needs to be a consideration in the event we need a small chunk to finish the project. Thanks all.

Take a cabinet door & floor samples to the stone yard & see what looks good with it. You can always use a remnant for a bathroom. Are you going to paint as well? A lighter color would really brighten up the space. As far as quartz goes, I really tried to like it because it's what's "new & hot", but I just can't get on board. I like it in other peoples' kitchens, but it's not my style. Go with what you like.

Have you considered quartz? The pricing is very similar and it's a newer product that granite. I haven't used granite in a kitchen in quite some time. Since you're investing in your home, I would recommend you look at a product that is a little more up-to-date. Best of luck!

we did that and the Venitian Gold made the cut along with the St. Cecilia. but things always look different in the house as opposed to in the warehouse.

It really depends on the slab. NVG seems like it might have too much yellow/gold in it for your kitchen. You don't want everything orange/yellow/gold. You need a contrast. St. Cecilia can be really nice, but some of the slabs read a bit cool. Your space is very warm.

What speaks to you when you look at it? My heart starts pounding quickly and I get an adrenaline rush when I see something i love. I currently have st. Cecila and I'm replacing it on friday because it's very orange, hope this helps you.

I have a granite very similar to St. Cecilia, and I like it very much. However, many people would say that these two options are dated or not on trend.

You should look at Colonial Breeze or Colonial Cream. Here is the slab of Colonial Breeze that I considered. It was beautiful & read warmer in person than it does in the pic.
