I have another decision to make now (after the faucets one which is getting resolved - thanks to many of you who replied there).

Here is my bathroom pic. The width of the opening is 54 1/4 in the middle (54 3/16 at the top and 54 5/16 at the bottom). So no more than 2/16 from top to bottom.

I do not really have the budget to go for a custom door. A hinged door is an option, but I prefer a sliding one because there is not a lot of space there.

My installer is suggesting that I get a 56-60 inch sliding door (since the 50-54 will be too small apparently).

I called Dreamline and they are suggesting the Infinity-Z or Encore (both seem to be semi-frameless).

I was wanting frameless, but with the measurements I gave them they do not recommend it.

1) If I used the 56-60 inch sliding door how narrow will my opening be? I do not get an answer to that from DreamLine, no matter how many times I ask them the question (my guess is 21 inches or so? Seems narrow).

2) What are the other options I have? Other manufacturers, designs, etc

It seems like the overlap between the glass will be very large if I install a 56-60 on a 54 inch shower. Will that be a cleaning headache?
