Do you have a picture of the existing columns? What material are they made of and what you plan to wrap them with?

You need to know if the columns are structural or decorative.

Wrapping the existing columns will result in very large square columns that will most likely look way out of place.

If the columns are structural, you will need to replace them. That is expensive. Requires building temporary supports to raise the roof, remove the columns, and replace with square.

If the columns are just for looks, cut away the round and wrap the actual support members.

have round interior columns. one is a half .

and I want to DIY them into SQUARE. is there an inexpensive way?

is there a square wrap or something 4 sided? that is hard to go around the round surface?
