Finally got neem oil

I looked for this a couple years ago, and I couldn’t find it anywhere locally. Well this week at the home center I saw 5 bottles of neem oil spray mixed with lemongrass in the discount bin for a dollar apiece I bought them up.

I know this can be sprayed on my peach trees to control aphids in the summer, but I’ve also heard you can spray it in the winter to get rid of Peachtree borers (I have major infestation’s of both). I just took half a bottle and soaked the trunks of all my peach and nectarine trees. In the fall I also painted white latex dilute paint on them.

I doubt this will be strong enough to replace the ‘bad’ pesticides I started using last year, and I don’t have the volume to use anyway. But is there anything else I can save this for? Maybe edible crops and vegetables close to harvest I don’t want to use pesticides on?
