Long story ahead... I’ve had my 5ft money tree for about 5yrs now and it’s always done well once I figured out the right lighting and watering schedule. I got a smaller money tree about 2 yrs ago and it’s also always done well. In October of 2017 i moved into a new house and really struggled to find a good place for my money trees. I found no good place outside because it’s too windy or they get a full blast of direct sunglight. Fast forward to around Christmas time I had the trees in an ok location by the front door when I noticed they not only dropped the majority of their leaves but they were also getting sooty mold. I repotted them and started spraying them with neem oil. Then the leaves started turning yellow and then falling off with no new growth. I realized the pots were too big and they were getting root rot. I repotted again to smaller pots and mixed more sand with citrus soil then moved them inside. The sooty mold wasn’t going away so following the advice of another forum I wiped each leaf with a soapy solution and rinsed. Finally new leaves started to grow on each plant but now they look like this.

they are all very misshapen and small

I’m at my wits end with my plants and am out of ideas of what to do. Should I cut off all the bad growth? Should I repot them again? Any suggestions are welcome!
