Finishing Basement Ideas

We're finishing off our basement...finally!! We're putting in potlights, drywalling the ceiling, opening up the staircase, knocking down a wall & adding a kitchenette(no sink though unfortunately). I'm having a hard time deciding on what to do with the upper wall section of the kitchenette? We are going for a rustic, industrial farmhouse look. At the front of the room, beside the staircase, will be a pool table. After we knock down the wall to the right of the kitchenette will be the tv area( we're keeping the dust out of that room at the moment until we are done with the ceiling as it's the only room that's finished). Any ideas for the kitchenette area will be great! The bottom will have one set of drawers and next to that an opening for a microwave and a deeper drawer under that. Here are some pics of the basement as it stands:)

Here are some of the other lights we're buying for basement. One is for over the pool table, the top of stairs and the bottom of stairs.

This is the idea we have for flooring and new railing for basement.

I'm confused - is the "kitchenette" the inset section with the refrigerator, or the whole area with the table and bar top? Will all of that be staying?

Not sure if I should have closed uppers in the kitchenette beside the fridge or make and hang industrial pipe shelving and stain them a colour to match flooring & countertop. Here is the countertop we put in the center island and we are good my to use them for kitchen countertop too. We will wrap the poles on the island and think we'll stain them the same colour as the wood we'll wrap the two big opening with.
    Thoughts or ideas welcome!!!

I ‘m sorry but a kitchenette without water makes no sense.Making popcorn , greasy fingers you need a sink . Do you have a bathroom or laundry down there.

Patricia- unfortunately we are on a well and don't have a bathroom in the basement as we have one right at the top of the stairs. It's certainly not ideal...but it would be a ton of work and money to buy a special pump to pump water up and run piping across the whole basement and out.
I plan on having lots of wet wipes, paper towels & clean wet cloths to wipe up spills etc when we are entertaining:)

We may at some point put in a bathroom in the basement as it would go in the little room with the opening just past the stairs. We can then put the pump on the backside of the room and it's a shorter run to the septic bed. That will be phase 2 maybe in a few years...

Sue j- The kitchenette will be tucked away in the opening. The bar countertop will just be a place to sit and watch the pool game and eat at. We'll make a smaller rustic table to play games at and put it by what will be the other opening. I hope this makes sense:)

The ceiling is done & has a coat of primer paint everywhere. We will paint White Dove on ceiling , Revere Pewter on the walls & trim will be wood with a stain to still be determined( if you have a favorite stain colour, let me know:)).

We are trying to decide what wall to hang a pallet wall? On the long wall at the bottom of the stairs...we will hang a 70" tv on that wall & there will be a pool table in the space? The back wall in the smaller room- a couch will go up against that wall or the longer room in the smaller room that the tv is currently moved away from- the 55" will get hung up on the wall there or will make a farmhouse style tv stand for it? Thoughts??
