The sink, thinking of adding to small shelves on the left side of the medicine cabinet to fill in the space

Not sure how it got installed slanted like that, but the way its mounted to the floor no fixing that without damaging the floor tiles, or exposimg a hole where it anchors to the floor. If i can find one that fits may add a cabinet over the toilet.

Want to replace the top piece of the shelf with perhaps oak. It is removable to access the plumbing for the tub. Not sure why the contractor made it to short, my grandmother had in to replace the tub surround about a decade or so ago.

If you are thinking of making just small changes. . Paint the wood paneled walls a brighter white to match the tiled walls. Remove all of the wall hanging items above the sink and store items in cabinet. Change outlet cover to match outlets (I would just change the entire outlet to white). Remove the faucet handles and clean them underneath. Lower the mirrored cabinet and replace the lights with something above the mirror. I don't see a space that need to be filled to the left of the mirror. Could we see the entire sink wall?

Check the plumbing isle at your local hardware store. You may be able to get some misc. items and add a lower shelf under the sink for storage baskets.

Add wall mounted storage unit over toilet.Remove curtain. Replace tub shelf with white one Oak wood items in a wet area will retain water damage more quickly than a sealed painted shelf. Add a couple of white plastic basket to contain your personal items.

Light colors would be best.
Someone suggested wallpaper. I actually love that idea. I hope to one day get to see someone use wallpaper in their room on this site, especially as an accent wall. My hubby will not let me do it because he spent many hours removing some old 90’s borders in our home several years ago lol.

Lots of white, with a couple of other darker/lighter but similarly toned shades of blue (in tile?), plus some coral accents - amount of accent color depends on your taste, but at least 1.5 square feet, total. Or if your tastes run to yellow, or orange, those would also be nice.

Unless you MUST keep the tub, sink, tiles etc blue, consider having them spray painted white. Did this for my son’s two bathrooms in his condo 10 years ago....total cost was about $800 at the time. He still has the condo and its been a rental now for about the past 7 years and it still looks brand new.

Best i could do for a full shot of the wall with the sink. The bathroom is very small my back was against the oposite wall for this shot. The mirrors cannot be lowered it is a recessed unit and the lights are part of it.

As for the blue fixtures for now they must remain blue. For now just trying to freshen the look for a reasonable price. May go for a complete remodel eventually but that is not in the budget for the near future.

Nooooo! Original colored fixtures like those are in big demand these days. Painting any fixture or tile is usually a terrible idea. Just look around and see what the colored ones sell for nowadays, if you can find them.
