Oh dang. I'm guessing you'll need to replace them at some point. Looks like they are very cheap or very worn out.

I don’t think they were stained, I think they’re just made of a super cheap particle board that is falling apart. If you can find the manufacturer mark (maybe on the bottom of the drawer?) they might cover it under manufacturer warranty. If not, a coat of paint may help hold it together for another few months?

You could also always try one of those wood chip hiding markers for tables they sell at Home Depot.

Thank you, I did try that initially when we first moved in and it did not take. Then tried Minwax, but that also did not help. I do believe they are pretty cheap cabinets. I'd like to just replace them all, but wanted to exhaust all options before going that route. Thank you!
