Kitchen/Dining Help Needed

I would love some opinions on a problem that popped up again on our kitchen/dining remodel.
We have an open concept home and are remodeling the entire kitchen/dining/living area. We really fell in love with the idea of a large island and had planned for an 8ft to seat four. However, after constructing a new pantry it shifted a bit the area of the island and it comes way too close to the dining area where we wanted a 7’ rectangle table.
So...I think our options are to 1. Make the island 6ft (instead of 8ft) 2. Move the dining light fixture closer to the bay windows to shift the table (but it will still be tight as the corner to the table will meet the corner of the island) or 3. Scratch the idea of a rectangle table and put bench seating on the bay windows and do a round table, not our favorite idea as it will limit the number of seats and also create an empty space in front of the dining area.
We are at a point where change is still possible but we need to decide ASAP.
Any advice is appreciated.
I marked the 6 or 8ft island with painters tape and the dining table for an better visual.
