Paint the brick on the porch white. Paint the stair railings white. Paint the storm door to match the trim. Add shrubs flanking the porch steps. Like endless summer hydrangea. Take you next picture on a sunny spring day. You'll be amazed at how great your house looks.

I just looked up Queen Anne home style and this is exactly what we needed to research this more! wasn't sure what the style was called, so it was hard to find examples. Thanks to everyone for these ideas! Adding some plants to front yard should definitely help.

Porch: As mentioned here, your brick railing is out of character. Definitely consider rebuilding with a period railing.

Front Door: You could purchase a period matching new entry door (if don’t have already). I believe if it’s something you touch and enjoy every day it‘s worth the budget line item. But simplest is to paint your existing door. It can be a third color and a bold contrast color. You can find many examples.

Accent: Also consider a third accent color for details - porch column caps, body bands or drip edges. It can be higher or lower contrast depending on what mood your after.

And of course landscape makes a big difference, as seen here also. In addition to “curb appeal”, it should bring years of joy to come home to.
