Has anyone used a Create Good sink?

I need a smaller single bowl for the guest loft kitchen. I’m also thinking an offset drain will give me a bit more room under the sink for some storage. Although I will need to check with the plumber if I can do a garbage disposal with an offset drain.

I have the 26” ledge sink from them. The left drain works well for me because my d/w is to the left of the sink. I also bought the cutting board and the rectangular metal strainer, which I really like.

Sue - how do you like the 26" sink? Do you find it large enough? I'm thinking of the 26" or 28" and am wondering if the extra accessories are worth it (e.g., do you use the cutting board in the sink and is the extra 'surface' worth it? do you use the sink to dry dishes?). I have a very small galley - 9 x 9 - and would like to avoid having a dish drying rack on the counter. So I'm wondering if getting a 'bigger' sink with a drying rack would be worth it...

The sink seems huge to me. I can fit every single pan/cutting board I own in there. I was actually trying to get the next smaller one, but they were out of stock. My counter space is limited so I didn't want to have an overly big sink. In talking to the guy there, he pointed out that the 26" was the same price and that as I had a 24" drop in previously, and this was an undermount, I would lose very very little extra counter space. I really like it. I can't imagine what I would do with a bigger one. It is deep, wide and long. I also love the offset drain because you can have a pan in the sink and it doesn't have to cover up the drain, the water can still run down.

I have the 33" ledge sink and love it. I use all the accessories...cutting board, roll mat, and colander. I'm trying to avoid a dish drying rack, too. So far I don't miss it. The 33" doesn't feel too big. It's great to have space to fit pots and the accessories from the combi-steam oven in it easily. I would have gone bigger if I had the room so I could leave more accessories in place. I love rinsing veggies and chopping at the sink. The roll mat is great for drying things I hand wash. Also bought the sink grid.

    Just a suggestion -

    have had quite

a number of sales for in-law apartment use. It's comparable in price and comes with a Boos cutting board that fits over the rack. Just a thought as it seemed to fill your parameters.. Thanks

Here’s my 33” Create Good Sinks. Also got the cutting board. Very happy with it.

Skipper328, is it comfortable to use the cutting board in the sink? I am wondering if the strip of countertop in front of the sink makes it awkward to use the cutting board (are you leaning forward with your arms way out in front of you as you’re cutting?), and if the apron front sink would be more comfortable to work at, as I am not tall at 5’3. Thanks in advance!

Edited to clarify that I am comparing apron front vs non-apron front (not ledge)

Hi cyc2001, The cutting board is very comfortable to use. I don’t feel like I’m leaning forward at all. I am 5’ 7 1/2 “. For me, the position of the cutting board on the sink feels more comfy than using a board on the counter. Plus I have a window over the sink so I don’t feel closed in when chopping, etc. Mine is not an apron front.

I loved mine in our old house and will be getting another one in the house we just bought when we redo the counters.

Can you get a ledge sink in a granite or similar? I love the concept but don’t want SS.

I'm considering getting a ledge sink, and I see many good reviews here. Question - when you need to use the sink for washing or drying, do you simply stack the accessories on the countertop? I don't want to end up having more stuff on my countertops, instead of less. I can see us using the cutting board, colander and drying rack a lot.

I only got the cutting board and metal strainer. I don’t leave them in the sink, I keep the cutting board in my tray divider area and the strainer on a shelf in the sink cabinet. My sink stays empty unless I’m using them.

skipper328. I also love your sink fixtures-faucet & matching hot water dispenser(I think?). Could you share what brand they are? Thx, Terri

For those of you who have a ledge sink, we do a lot of sheet pan meals and I was wondering if anyone knows if a half sheet pan 18"x13" would fit across the sink? Also I'm wondering if the depth of the sink would be an issue for someone who is only 4'10"? Thanks in advance!

tbader718 Sorry I am just seeing your post now. My faucet is a Kohler Artifacts, love it. I don't have a hot water dispenser, it's a water filter by Mountain Plumbing.

Karen Lynn Sorry I am just seeing your post now. I tried to place my Nordic ware cookie sheet across the sink and it's a little bit too long for it. (about 18x13) But it would fit the other way if you placed it on the cutting board. I'm 5'8'' so the sink depth works for me plus with the grate on the bottom it's makes it a little less deep. I've read some people complain that a sink that is too deep can give you a back ache. Maybe you could go to a model home or a kitchen design center and stand in front of a deep sink and see how it feels.
