Ceasarstone scratch

I just found a tiny scratch on my ceasarstone quartz counter. We have the ginger color so you can tell that it’s whiteish. So many conflicting solutions. To Barkeeper or not to Barkeeper. I’m wondering if it got there from the bottom of a rough coffee cup. Can’t believe it. Any solutions. I hate to be so picky but moving forward I will be nervous. Our counter is only a few months old. Thanks for any input.

Not a week after my quartz counter was installed, I dropped a stack of stoneware platters on the counter & caused half a dozen small gouges. I took advice on here and bought two different color Sharpies that matched the shading of my counter. I colored them in. The gouges are still there, but very hard to see, and only I can see them because I know where they are - I decided that my band-aid solution was better than spending 100s of dollars on repair, when I knew it was likely I'd just drop something on them again in the future.

No Barkeepers Friend. If not a large scratch can you find a nail polish that blends with counter and touch up? I made a ding in my white Cambria and touched up with nail polish a year ago. Only I can find it.

Yes you will remove the scratch but at a cost!

Put up a photo and we can have a look at what the best option is

If it is not deep our Quartz stone Polish will remove the scratch without affecting the surface finish. That is if your fingernail does not catch on the scratch, any deeper you will need to have it repaired.

But if you email us at stains@stonebenchtopcleaner.com.au, we can help you with a diy solution that is a band aid fix. Not something that we would do the repair the damage, but if you happy with the result something you could live with other than a white line aka scratch.

Here’s a photo of one of the gouges. I used fine point sharpies in brown and grey. It’s the darker spot in the middle of the photo.

The problem with stone it is like timber it bruises which is the lighter marks. Also you have divets in the surface which unfortunately a sharpie will not fix, but will disguise the issue.
