Laundry placement

Where would you place the washer/dryer in this room? The windows are too low...so anywhere but there. The room is 11'6 x 8'8".

You're very fortunate to have such a large laundry room--I would leave W/D where they are, if you need a laundry sink, I would put it next to the dryer. Put lower cabinets on opposite wall with counter top for folding station and extra storage-wall cabinets above W/D for storage and maybe a drying rack for items that may need to be hung. Good luck!

I'd move them down, so the dryer is next to the exterior wall. This will give you a short vent to the outside for dryer efficiency, and will be easier to clean out. I guess that is the front wall of the house? Maybe put a laundry sink in between the washer and dryer?

It's on the second floor of my house. Yes, the window is the front of the house.

I don’t mind where it is now but would put a sink beside them. Also I would add shelving or hooks and storage along the other wall.

If front loader, will the washer door open all the way?

Do I need to open the front loader door all the way?

Well...I guess you don't have to but the inside of the door sticks out a few inches so I like the door to go beyond 90 degrees to have full access to load/unload.
