They do grow slowly! I've had Juliet for 3 years, Carmine Jewel for 4 or 5, and just got Romeo last summer -- all in pots. The first 2 are the same size now, about 2.5 ft X 2.5 ft; neither has blossomed yet. I do wonder if keeping them in pots (I do so because most of my yard will be very wet in late winter/spring) will inhibit their ability to produce fruit.

I will be setting mine outside this year, I'll let you know!
