Romance series after a year and a half

I planted Romeo and Juliet in fall, 2016 out in the yard. Got them from Honeyberry. Deer nibbled them over that winter, so I responded with some alarm and potted them in the spring of 2017. Left them out on the upper deck all year, southern exposure, to protect against critter damage. Then I kept them indoors over the winter. It’s spring of 2018. They are budding out green now, but still tiny (I did prune a very little bit).

Good luck little guys! But yeah, they grow really slowly.
