Looking for advise on what to do with our staircase in recent home purchase. We are in process of getting hardwood floors installed and want to update the staircase as well. Thinking we would like the open stair treads closed in, not a fan of them or the carpet wrap or the half wall. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
