homegirlnh- this is a great question. While I can't speak directly to this exact kitchen, a good ballpark price for a
similar size kitchen is a 50,000 budget for a complete gut and reno,
added electric scope, new quality cabinetry to the ceiling with crown,
solid Ceasarstone counter, backsplash to ceiling, new flooring, new
appliances, new electric fixtures, new plumbing fixtures, plasterwork,
paint....Keep in mind, your choices can make a big impact on price as
well as the amount of cabinetry, amount of counterspace, squarefootage, etc. A
stainless steel exposed hood with a basic 400cfm or lower for a standard
size oven could be 400. You could spend 5,000 plus on a 48" custom hood
with a higher cfm that might need make up air. Fixture selection,
layout, design choices can really make swings in the cost of a project.
Of course you can always make smaller changes and minor upgrades for
less.
