Does this bed fit standard size mattresses and bases?

Hi,
I am considering this bed and would like to use a Sleep Number mattress and adjustable base. They are made to standard sizing. Do you have any feedback as to how the mattress fit for the bed you picture?

This platform is like a sand box, so it is ideal for specialty beds like the sleep number or motorized beds. Please let me know the style number of your bed so I can find the specs. This way I can make sure it will work.
