I notice the absence of a ventilation hood...I love the look without! Can you tell me if you had code issues. And, do you miss the ventilation when cooking/frying foods?

There is a low-profile ventilation fixture on the ceiling. Depending on the hidden features and the suction power, it may actually function well enough to remove smoke and odors, but I am guessing it may also be noisy. It also needs to be vented to the outside through a wall or roof rather than into the attic space.

Thank you. Did you use a Panasonic light/fan combo? What brand? I'm not seeing anything other than recessed lighting and a/c vent...Thanks again!
