powder room vs tiny full bath vs losing window to make master bathroom

We love in a 1950s 1200 sf ranch style home with 3 bedrooms (not huge) and 1.5 baths. our half bath is 5' by 3' and it is part of our master bathroom. We had to gut it because of a minor toilet leak and are now facing a dilemma. We can inexpensively update it and turn it into a stylish powder room. because of the location of our bedroom windows, we can only easily move the wall 4" to create a 5x3'4" space and make it over into a tiny stand up shower with sink and toilet. our other option is to run a wall along our master bedrooms length to expand the bathroom into a long and narrow 5' by 20" an suite bathroom. however this would be at the expense of our 2 windows - they would both be in the bathroom. our master bedroom could still fit a queen size bed but would now only have 1 source of light - the French doors that go out onto our screened porch. Which option should we pick?? We are concerned about resale value since this is not our forever home.
