Thanks! I was thinking window boxes might balance the too-short windows - I think we'll do that. Not sure about an awning - might make the entryway too dark? Haven't seen one on a house before, so I'll have to look into it!

Have you thought about changing the swing on the front door so the hinges are on the left rather than the right side?

I only mention it because the stoop stops right at the door and it looks like the person on the stoop would be crowded out IF the door opens outward. Here all the front doors open out, but it might be different in your area. If your door opens inward, then it doesn't matter about the door swing.

I would put up a L-shaped fence perpendicular to your home to screen out the electrical box and landscape it nicely on the side facing your front door.

Change your address to something larger and more colorful or even backlit so it can be seen from the street.

Add a large welcome mat all across that top step.

Put in a much larger colorful pot with tall plant in front of the sidelite window.

Trim up the landscaping to the left. I know you said you removed the bush (good job), but I am talking about the far left bushes/trees in the photo.
