Recessed Lighting in Kitchen - HELP WANTED!

I’m remodeling my kitchen and would like to install recessed lighting. I will also have undercabinet lighting. I’m not sure about layout and what size lights to use. I would like to use LED dimmable lights. I’m also not sure about lumens. Can anyone offer any advice?

My kitchen it’s about the same size as yours/ recessed lights being installed as we speak. I am putting in 11 6in cans, 3 rows with 4 lights in a row.- spaced 4ft apart One row has 3 cans because we are putting a pendant above the table: we got sunco brand cans and led lights from amazon. We are also installing a dimmer switch because that are BRIGHT
