April 11-15 retreat still open.

There is still time to make plans to attend the April retreat at Quilter's Inn. Price is $140 plus food/meals if we have 6 people. So far I have me, Jackie, Teresa, Linda, and Fran. Deposits are paid so you can pay me there. If Tim's new job can get him trained so he can go to work he will not be there, but they are dragging their feet so there is still an outside chance he will attend. If he does he will hike to a plane crash and won't be around a lot. We have never stayed here, so this will be a learning experience. If anyone has visited please share your thoughts.

I have never visited the retreat but have been to the shop many times, It is a nice shop with some custom fabrics and kits.

I can't wait to get there! If anyone needs any certain color of strips etc, please let us know. You know we are all excited when we can help a fellow quilter out. After last retreat, Teresa sent me the absolute greatest box of neutral scraps. I always seem to need neutral scraps so I was in heaven when I opened the box. She also brought a huge bag of scraps we could pilfer through at retreat! So Teresa, if there is anything you need, please let me know. I can shop this fabric store sized stash and find it for you. LOL

Also let us know if you are looking for a certain pattern. One of us probably has it somewhere.

I am about 2 hours away from this retreat, so I can bring whatever anyone needs. Besides having a quilt shop attached, there are several quilt shops in the area. Sevierville has a couple of great ones.

I'm bringing scraps and strings, too. I'll bring the AccuQuilt if anyone wants to use it.

I'm getting excited about retreat too. I can't bring a whole lot of stuff traveling by plane with a sewing machine and a suitcase but I'll figure it out. I have a bag of strings ready to go and am thinking of playing with some dresden plates as well. Beverly, I assume there will be lots of rulers available. I won't be able to bring anything very big.

There will be lots of rules. If you need a specific ruler or fabrics let me know and I'll bring it. And we can always ship things home for you if needed.

Hello my quilting friends! I have missed the forum and the Retreats. I just turned in my retirement notice at work (may 11 is my last work day) so maybe next year I'll be able to join the Retreat again. It's so nice to come back to this forum and see names I know and love!
