Looking for a small tabletop display case

Hi -- I've spent hours searching on-line for a small tabletop display case, but what I'm finding is too large. I'd like a fully-enclosed clear acrylic (or glass?) case with at least 1 shelf. Ideal measurements would be 9-10" wide, 8" tall, and at least 3 1/2" deep, with one shelf allowing 4" clearance. It's for tabletop display and I can go larger in any direction, if it's reasonable and will fit, but I haven't even found anything that's remotely in that ballpark for measurements. Any ideas?

Is THIS the kind of thing you had in mind? I always have trouble visualizing from a written description. They have other types of cases available.

omg, I need a dozen of those for legos!

Fun2BHere, I'm not finding any dimensions on that case... Am I just missing the info? I'm on an iPad at the moment. Thank you for looking! I hadn't found that site.

Olychick, the closest I've found size-wise is an acrylic cover that goes over a base of adjustable Lego shelves! I'd like something a little nicer.

The closest to what I'd like is on this page... here. The rectangular rotating one or the one with sliding doors would be great, but I'd just like something smaller. I want it for my miniature baskets. :)

ETA, I want regular horizontal shelf(s) though... I see that rotating case has angled shelves. :p

I found this one on Amazon in Home and Kitchen. It's kind of pricey though. Anything that's supposed to be wall mounted can easily sit on a table.

Anyway, I bet you can find something if you google shadow boxes.

I'd love to see a picture of your baskets!

The dimensions are on right when you scroll down a bit. I use my iPad to browse, too.

Much more expensive, but leads me to think you might find what you want on eBay. Example

Fun2BHere, I never scrolled right. lol! TY! I guess that might work... I'm trying to make sense of the inside "shelves"/pedestals. I can't even tell if it's fully enclosed. :p

Oakley, thanks, I'll try that search term. I'd really prefer all clear and positioned on a table where I keep them now -- but now they're just out in the open. I always love when someone wants to see one of my creations!!! :) It's not a basket, but here's my latest -- I'm calling it Easter Egg -- it's true to egg size.

Fun2B, I missed your post re eBay. I'm not keen on the hex shape, but will look there again for others. Thanks!

party music - You make those? Very cool.

No suggestions for a display case but it will be very colourful and eye-catching with creations such as that in it.

Blfenton, yes, I make them. Thanks! I think they're cool too. :) Basket weaving is one of my hobbies... I weave everything from traditional homegrown willow down to miniatures in waxed linen. But I can only make one or two minis a year, so I don't need a huge display case. My largest minis are less than 3" in any direction, and some are much smaller... Less than 1".

ljwrar, Thank you. That's a pretty case and the lock feature is good (and bad. Lol.) I was hoping to find something under $100, and custom made is probably my best bet, but I'm only guessing on what the ideal dimensions would be.

This is 10” tall at peak, 9” tall at sides. If it appeals to you at all, I’ll be happy to send it to you. I used it for displaying small items in my old house, but I have no place for it in my new house.

P.S. My feelings won’t be hurt if you don’t want this case. I understand it may not work with your personal style.

bbstx, that actually looks like it might be perfect! I will msg you!

ETA: My style is totally 'artistic' and it would be ideal. :)

    I love this group!!!

Hello all! I wanted to show how perfectly bbstx's display case worked out. I had all of these minis just sprawled on a side table, and this is how they fit. Ignore the temporary paper & placemat under it all. lol! Thank you, bbstx! :)

That's perfection! I love the little white one on the top shelf with the black and gold arrows.
