Hi! I just posed something about this too. Seeing if anyone has any advice on what to do with the rose bushes to get the best blooms for the show :)

Thanks for sharing this. I travel back and forth between Tampa and Palm Beach quite frequently, so I will try to be there that weekend.

Just wanted to remind everyone that South Florida is having their rose show this upcoming weekend (Saturday 29th of April and Sunday the 29th). Also, there are classes to enter for non members. Hope to see lots of fellow Floridians there.....

You only need to be a member to qualify for a few of the categories. All others are open to non members. If you are anywhere near south Florida you should certainly participate! Even if you don’t think you’ll qualify. There are so many categories including small garden (for those who grow less than 25 roses) and Amateur.p for new exhibitors. We don’t usually host real and true ARS shows down here. Take advantage! Many exhibitors are new too do not be shy.

If anyone is interested and wants more info, please reply to this post. There also a photo contest for rose lovers who may not grow roses but love t take pictures. Plus, the Monts Botanical plant sale is also here and it’s really amazing. Worth the trip.
