That’s Lemon Ice, my only Hosta that has not been frozen or vole-eaten or goat-eaten. The snow was gone in hours, Jo, but the temps at night have been below freezing many nights. I just go get Lemon Ice and bring it in. It sits on the dinner table near a bright window in case I forget to bring it outside before I go to work. I think that’s why it’s kind of green already, not enough sunlight.

Your Lemon Ice really looks nice. I'd be doing exactly what you are if it were my hosta!
