Alright, the soil is too organic. That wont be a problem initially, but it will cause problems later down the line. Next time, add grit and small pebbles, and pumice if you can. This kind, echeveria " nurnberg pearl" likes lots of light, and not a lot of water. From what i can see, the leaves look bloated, so avoid watering for 2 weeks or so. Pot seems to be plastic , the kind with lots of drainage holes, so thats good . Though, you should often check whether or not water has accumulated in the ceramic pot bellow- this will cause severe problems.Youll need to drain it immediately.

Thank you!!! It came in the plastic...i tossed it in the ceramic pot to keep it stable if my cats got it before i figured out what it was. How often does this little guy need watered after that two weeks??

I advise you to keep it well far from the reaches of pets, cats in particular. Cats are known to chew on even the spiniest cacti, and will scratch them too. The two week should be a standard for spring and autumn, less often in winter , somewhat more often in the summer. And i suggest just adding a very small amount of water to the plant , instead of watering thoroughly, about less than half a mug(~100 ml?).

Echeveria "Perle von Nurnberg". I would suggest repotting into much better mix - fast draining. Then it could be watered well when needed - that would be when the mix is almost completely dry, deep in the pot. You could use wooden-bamboo skewer or chopstick to check it. It is better to water plants when needed rather than on schedule - depending on your locale (general location/growing zone?), that could be more often than 1x every 2weeks. It will color up beautifully in sufficient sunlight - make sure you acclimatize it to it, otherwise leaves may burn.
