I use Moodboard lite on my phone and iPad. it does not have an instant alpha feature like pages does though so can not photoshop with it but it works well enough for adding furniture in rooms. I use pages for my photo shopping and then cut and paste to moodboard lite.

Trish I copy and paste pictures and photos on pages and it also allows you to erase colors in the photo to then add a different color in place of the orginal by using the instant alpha function. On my hp I used photoshop similarly.

I also like magicplanner on my iPad for room layout and it has a 3D option to view the new layout.

Olioboard is web-based.

I have a mac but have used Word. I just slide pics in and arrange as I want. You can overlap and place pictures in front of or behind other pics. It is probably not the best way. If doing so for a post, you can take a screen shot of the work - which will turn it into a Jpeg and can be posted as a picture.

@BeverlyFLADeziner, I also use MS Publisher, but be aware it is being shut-down completely by October 2026. You will no longer be able to open any saved files or create new ones.

Make sure you save any files you want to keep into a PDF.

I put a reminder in my calendar at the beginning of August to make sure I save the files I want to keep before everything disappears.

Paint.net is a respected, free app that is a more capable version of MS Paint. It has layering ability. That means you can paste pictures in their own separate layer: on top of each other, under each other, move them around, resize them, or delete them without affecting the other pictures.
