Living in probably the coolest mango tree climate of anybody who posts growing them in ground,I noticed that my "Champagne" took all the wet and cold and never flinched. A 33f morning left a few Manila Mango leafs singed..but the Champagne is summer perfect. Only ( always a only) it grows much slower then the Manila. 3' in near 4 years in ground.

Anyways,I wondered if instead of grafting for cold hardiness (Antonio like) and hoping they live up to the original,why the dont they clone a truly mid 20's taking Mango tree?

Must be a world of people who want a true z9a Mango.
