Andrea, We use a lot of Tennessee crab orchard stone in north Georgia, so that's a possibility. Crab Orchard can be very colorful, and some of those colors you may want to avoid for your project. Your best bet is to select pallets in the color range you want from the stoneyard. Or have a mason or contractor that you trust to do that for you. These are mid size stones which were individually chipped to the block shape on site.

As an aside, I love using Pennsylvania Blue Stone on patios because it looks so beautiful accented by brick. It was my first choice for pathways, edging a pond and for a pergola floor in my personal garden.
