tiled pebble shower floor - it is hard to keep clean?

I love the look of pebbled floors but was wondering about the upkeep.

Not if you seal the stone with a 15 to 20 year penetrating sealer for the stone and then use Laticrete's Spectralock Epoxy grout! Spectralock grout will not mold or mildew, never needs sealing, and will not chip out like the old standard grouts. Many of my clients have follow this suggestion and have never had any cleaning issues. Here are some photo of their projects.

Not hard to keep clean, but husband had a hard time maintaining even slope when installing. And seal it before grouting!

Our shower floor is like the one in the bottom photo with the shower caddy in the corner. We have not had a problem keeping it clean, one thing I do is scrub brush with Comet and rinse very well about once a month. The bonus is how the stones feel on the feet, relaxing.

Many of my clients say the stones under foot feels like you feet are being massaged. I did have one client that was flat footed, he did not like the feel. You might consider purchasing a sheet first to try standing on it with bare feet, just to be sure. The trick is to seal it and use epoxy grout.

What kind of cleaners do you use on it? Would the Method all natural bathroom cleaner be safe on the pebble?

cosmos, only cleaners meant for natural stone should be used.

right now I'm using one my stone restoration guy gave me for my honed marble. It's concentrated so can be mixed up in a spray container. works very well. But anything along these lines that says , "for natural stone and marble" should be ok. nothing acidic. no natural vinegar products or bleach products.
