Everybody has been telling me the rug must go under all the furniture! It's new look but it helps the seating area all seem to stick together as a grouping. I personally always liked the idea of a little walk way path between the rug and sofa where the coffee table would go, but now it's a big no no!

Yes this one isn't the right size if anything maybe tuck the larger carpet under the sofa a little more if you don't want it sticking out so far from the coffee table.
