my boo boo - I put CaCO3 into my Satsuma's soil, making it quite alkaline, but I can't find a good way to rectify this relatively quickly. Most sulfur products work way too slowly, and require active soil bacteria to break down the components to acidify the soil. One organic nursery suggested wettable sulfur ( in powder form it should in theory, at least, work faster ) but all I see is wettable forms is only a fungicide. I'm kinda leaning towards just adding citrus fertilizer, in hopes of making the soil a little more acid..... but there are some people who think even using diluted white vinegar is the way to go.
