Turface for residential lawn?

Moved into a new construction and am finding chunks of clay in the soil they brought in. I was researching how to amend the soil before seed/sod to help create a great lawn and heard about Turface. Is it worth tilling some in to improve drainage and compaction of the clay soil?

Surface is awesome & will work miracles on your soil, but it's tough to find in quantities less than a full pallet

Turface is really good ! Some landscape supply places sell it by the bag. Use 'Turface MVP' ......the aggregate is bigger, and creates more air space and dilutes the soil better. I am not sure how much per 1,000sq ft .......but i am sure you could find that info on-line some where.

A good thing about Turface- any amount of it -is a benefit......even at half rate. Its not like sand - where you can end up making your soil like concrete- if you don't till in the right amount.
