An area rug and a coffee table would really bring the room together. Also maybe a plant beside the sofa would really warm up the room.

I like the first picture celery posted. The brown and cream really warm it up nicely.

I would replace the mirror with a nice print or painting. It's not reflecting anything except the other wall.

That mirror over the sofa looks like a window into an interrogation room. IMO the room could use some texture.

A quick update! I found a modern rug as many of you suggested.

@celerygirl thanks for your suggestions they were REALLY helpful.

The chairs, side, coffee tables will all arrive within the week. I’ll share updates then.

The hunt for wall art to replace the mirror and lamps begins. (I’ll lower the mirror until I find a replacement )

I’m also in need of artwork over the sideboard/cabinet and recommendations for accent pieces (maybe a lamp?) for the end table between the two chairs.
